Exploring Humanity's Place The universe. Limitless, or so we believe. It’s comforting, isn’t it? To think of ourselves as part of something infinite, a piece of an unending story. But what if we’re only scratching the surface? What if what we call “limitless” is only boundless because we haven’t yet developed the tools to see the edges, to find the end of the horizon? Our understanding of the cosmos may be as limited as trying to grasp the vastness of the ocean while standing on its shore, a concept just out of reach. We understand it only as far as we can grasp—which is to say, barely at all. Yet, it is this very limitation that keeps us going. Humanity’s story is not one of stasis but of striving, of leaning forward into the unknown with hope that there’s something meaningful on the other side.
